Post Ford air fresheners

Has anyone tried the Ford air fresheners(in the catalogue or website)? I got mine today with the country fresh scent. Yak... It smells like strawberry... Does anyone know a better scent? Something fresh and manly and not something sissy and sweet... One more question. The air freshner uses the electrical outlet to work, but it doesn't turn off. It's always ON. Will this drain the battery if I don't use my truck at all for a month(vacation or smth)? Or should I remove it if I won't drive my truck for a while?
Thanks.

In order to save a couple hundred other people from asking: just what exactly is "fresh and manly"?

OK OK... Fresh as in refreshing, cool and manly as in not fruity smelling or not kinda girly...
Sorry for the double post...
BTW... the air freshner had become hot after 2 ours on... Looks kinda dangerous... I don't want to return to my truck and see that it's on fire...

I like the gell air fresheners you get at walmart or any where else. They kinda look like a can of dip. I stuck mine up under the dash on the passenger side, near the A/C filter. lasts for several months.

Thumbs down

I guess on the one hand you can look at it like this: It's a FORD approved part and if it burns up your truck, Ford will do the right thing. On the other hand, I wouldn't count on it. So, you're saying it gets hot, then I would pull it out when I stopped. Personally, I'd send the whole contraption back, it really doesn't sound like something I'd want in my truck. Go by Walmart and check out all their smell-um stuff, one of the scents is bound to be "manly" enough for you. I found one that's like peppermint for my beast.
