fast46triton~
I have a Prestige alarm (combined with The Club). I am pretty satisfied with the alarm. I personally got it more for keyless entry and auto locks, neither of which have given me problems within the year I've had the alarm. The little control pads have gone through some abuse too, and I am honestly amazed they stil work. As far as sensitivity, I have it set on the most sensitive, which is a personal preference, and I am also satisfied with that. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.
Also, one of my friends just installed a higher end Viper alarm on his '96 Cobra, and from what I have seen, it is pretty impressive. Best of luck!!

Cool

When I had a my ranger I got an Excalibor Gold alarm installed to give me power locks and loved it. Now that I finally got my f150 I have to get money again so I can get the alarm in this truck.

Never had any problems with the truck. It gives you power locks (if you don't have power locks then get the door thingies and it gives you power locks), on button can control the power windows which I didn't have but do have now. Also automatics can get remote engine start. And as of protection wis the engine will only start if the alaam is turn off. I recommend it.

I had the dealer install the Silencer. And so far I'm completely pleased with it.

I just had a Clifford intelliguard 7000 installed in my 99 last week, and it sure has a lot of features. It can have the sensitivity level adjusted from the remote, which is good due to the frequent thundertstorms we have here in Florida. Im not a salesman but the options available and the quality of the install really hooked me, also as a Police Officer in the auto theft capital of the south I have to say, it really works.

I got the factory set up, it does ok. I'm never too far from my truck anyway.

I've got a Clifford Concept 200 alarm, paid $350 for the alarm and installation. This is considered somewhat of a base model for Clifford, as I understand they go all the way up around $800. The Concept 200 has more than enough features for me, with about 8 or 10 auxilary functions including remote start, power windows, moonroof, remote sensitivity adjustment, glass breakage sensor, 2-stage shock sensor(gives a warning tone if bumped lightly), and a badass remote to top it all off. You can have it programmed to arm and disarm automatically, or by the remote (which includes beep and silent arm/disarm). There's also a $50 blackjack feature I didn't get that requires you to punch in a small code each time you get in your car, or else your engine will shut off. Why in the hell would you want this? Well the salesman's explanation was if a carjacker stole your car at gunpoint at a stoplight or something, it will shut down before he gets too far. I said forget it, I'll spare $50. My advice....but a Concept 200, it's awesome (or any Clifford for that matter).

Truck Alarms ,I have two of them and they are both from Ford. One is the normal one , plus one is totally different. It has a motion alarm , all doors are wired, kick the tires it goes off. I have a window decal on each door that reads: This vechicle is equipped with a FORD Vechicle Security System. It`s really neat to have this extra on my truck!!
