fast46triton,
I had it installed at Rhodes in Hollywood FL. for about $350.00 which is pretty good concidering th quality of the alarm. They are very knowledgeable about the product and can be reached any time day and night if you have a problem, If you need info on where you can have a factory authorzed installer do the job go to www.clifford.com
Also if you resarch who makes other alarms such as Viper,Avital, and such they are made by clifford.
REMEMBER FORD F-150'S ARE #10 ON THE MOST POPULAR VEHICLES TO BE STOLEN,MIAMI AREA #1 for auto thefts....watch your investment....

Cool

I install the Ford Alarms. They are made by Code-Alarm. I like them. I have a Code Alarm remote starter in my truck. If you stay with factory remotes for an alarm or remote starter system you'll get 80 foot range maximum. You can have an alarm installed that uses separate remotes and you'll get the range of that unit. My remote starter gets something like 400 foot range because of the auxiliary antenna mounted at the top of my windshield. Don't let the "factory remotes" fool you into thinking you can't use an alarm system with its own remotes. You can use them and not have to "also" carry the factory ones too.

Thumbs up

Got Ford's latest with my new truck. It includes the special encoded key which must be used to start the vehicle. I believe the only way it can be stolen is by towing or car-jacking. Hope I never find out.......

Wink

I have a "non passive" security system. It's a Glock model 17 pre-ban with a two round clip extention. Holds 20 rounds if you count the one in the pipe. Very effective!
