Post Ford Thunderbolt

The dealership I work for decided since were not an SVT dealership (ie:no Lightnings) they would make their own. They call it the Thunderbolt. I think it is way too gaudy. It's got lighted running boards like the Expedition, a "taped" on hood scoop, a hard tonneau cover, and a billet grille. Oh, and a stupidly huge THUNDERBOLT sticker where it should say Lightning. No rims, no performance goodies, blah. I asked the g.m. why not at least put on some ground effects. He said they didn't make them for the bumper. Whatever! What a good way to ruin a perfectly good truck. Of course the g.m. thinks it's beautiful. Oh well, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, I guess.

I used to work at a local Toyota dealer that did the same thing to the small trucks and the T-100 called the Hurricane. The cheapest models with mag wheels and fancy graphics and a $3000 price bump.
