Lights-kc Or Piaa
I have been trying to decide which lights I am going to mount on my truck. I have brought it down to PIAA's 520 fog, 80 XD fog, or KC daylighters. I want a light that will be good on the road as well as off. My only concern is that the KC daylighter's beam does not sweep as wide as the PIAA's. I want a light that will illuminate an entire two-track including the sides, not a light that only illuminates my path. Do the KC's sweep wide like the PIAA's? Or are they more of a straight beam driving type light? Any pics of the lights illuminated at night would also be a great help.
Thanks,
Kyle

I've used the KC's, but I have 3 mounted in the brush guard. One straight, and the sides are mounted with about 2 degrees out each side. This is more than sufficient out past 1/2 mile for visibility. Remeber you will have your headlights on also, so short wide is already illuminated, and fogs if equipped.
The PIAA, I just can't justify the price........

I use only PIAA's, but I think KC's are a good light too...

Matt, and big truck 311 all I can say is WOW. Those are some badass trucks.
Wish I had the $$ and the knowledge to make mine look like that.
I think Im gonna go with the PIAA from what everyone has said, 2 of the 520's or 80XT's behind or flush mounted to the grill. Also, Matt what kind of headlights are those, they are briiiiiiiiight.

Ok, I have brought it down to the PIAA 580 Driving, and the PIAA PRO 80 XT driving. Which do you guys think?? The 580 is 85W but they claim it has the power of a 135W and the 80 XT is putting out 120W.

I have the 80 XT's and love them, they are a great light. As I understand it the 580's are pretty much the same, except they are more of a whiter light. I would go with the 580's myself.
