What size Mass Air Sensor?

I have a 1997 F-150 4.6 I just put on a k&n 77 Series intake what would be the right size mass air sensor for the job. And what is a good manufacturer of one too? Thanks.

Cool

Unless you have done a bunch of other mods to your engine, the MAF is one of the last things you should spend mod money on.

Exhaust, pulleys, Superchip, electric fans, etc. will all give you more oomph than the MAF.

Just my $.02 worth...

The next thing I'm getting is the 1715 superchips I got the flowmaster exhaust. This lower pulley how much would that be and if you have any additional information on it. Thanks

Go SCT

Hi.

Avoid the 1715 - go with a 9100 or a 9300 and custom tuning. For the minimal price difference, you will get much more 'bang-for-buck' results, and the ability to modify your tuning as your (future) mods may dictate. There is no comparison.

My condolences on the Blowmaster - you should have gone with Magnaflow....;-))

A pulley set specifically designed for your truck ( NOT a Mustang set!), is under $200. You will need to get the idle rpm's bumped up a bit to regain charging system effectiveness under high electrical loads @ idle. Another reason for custom tuning, which will enable that.

Troyer Performance is the place you want to deal with, period.

cheers

It is Magnaflow 2 chamber. Says it right on the 3 inch stainless rolled tips. Cost me $470. And I was just checking out the troyer website and I was reading what everyone was saying about the Xcalibrator. It says Superchips Custom Tuning Xcalibrator for ALL OBD-II FoMoCo vehicles 1996-2005 is this it? The number is 9300. Thanks.
