Hello

Can anyone suggest a towing mirror solution for towing a 21' camper? My old vehicle used McKesh mirrors, and my vehicle looked like an advertisement for JC Whitney Clearance items.

I was rather dissapointed that the F150 didn't come with the nice, extendable mirrors built in so all you have to do would be to pull it out some when towing.

Ideally, I would like an integrated thing, not an addon, but if it is an addon, I'd like them to look good, be easy to snap on, and most of all, do no harm to the vehicle. Ir would be great if it was a replacement part.

I will be picking up my vehichle tomorrow or Thursday.

There are some replacement mirrors out there for the 04/05. Unfortunately I can't find the web site right now. These are heated signal mirrors that also telescope. If I remember correctly the price was somewhere around $400. If I find the site, I will post it.

Ford didn't think about anyone wanting too pull something with a F150,but not everyone wants a F250 for evey day driving.I pull something maybe once a year and some pull out mirrors would be nice too have for that one time. You never know when you may need them,When I get some extra $$$ I'll put a set on my truck, just too have them if I need too pull something and if I do get a trailer somtime.

 

I wish I could find something better than strap-on's ...... They work, but just barely.
