Just found out that Airaid has made a enhanced system design
for the '04 F150 which addresses the sensor issue on some '04s.
This will add more power and low end torque. The part number is 400-140-1.

I've been running the original for over 6 months along with my Troyer Stage I package and have had NO problems with it. I am not sure what Airaid did to improve on their design. Anyone know for sure?
