Lightbulb Intake Mod

ok guys I need some help on Modifing my Intake. I've seen Pictures here and there but can ne1 post them here if u have done this. Its not a bolt on or anything looks like they just cut out a piece of the filter housing. Also what benefits can I expect from doing this.

If you want a how-to then go to www.fordtruckworld.com or www.fordf150.net . There is one on one of those sites-i just cant remember which one is the site that has it.

If you are looking for pics and a little about it then scroll down to the bottom of the 'Other Aftermarket' forum(which you just happen to be in right now ) and you will see a post made by 01RedSScrew with the subject 'Air Intake Mod Complete' or something along that like.

Thanks guys,

Looks like this weekend Igot some work to do. also gonna install my Headlight Accent Kit! Also Do you Have to Remove Silencer or is that just for sound?

You don't have to remove it and I didn't notice really anymore noise. My line of thinking was that it is a 2 inch tube inside a 5 inch tube. More air flows thru 5 vice 2, so I pulled it for more flow. hope this helps.
