I was wondering the grill that comes on the lightning I know you can by the chrome after market grill for it. I was wondering if that grill would word on a standard 2000 F-150? Also if the lower bumper cover that you can by that makes the F-150 look like a lightning if the grill for the bottom of the kightnings would fit that bumper cover.

Yes to all those questions. You can get the oem Lightning bumper cover off ebay for about $200 dollars. The grill inserts will fit all F150 Lightnings from 1999-2003. You have to have 4 brackets to hold the lightning bumper cover on and they cost $80 bucks. The lightning fog lights will run you $45 dollars a piece. That is pretty much all you need for lightning fromnt end on a 1999 plus f150. You can save you alot of money by trying to get the grill inserts used.

Do you know if you can get an insert for the lightning cover that matches the 'honeycomb' insert that comes from Ford? Most of the bumpers I see have a billet grill in it and I would rather keep the stock grill look as I'm not real fond of the billet grills. Thanks!

 

where did u get the lower honeycomb grill??

 

The lower honeycomb grille was used on the 99-2000 L's. In 2001, they changed the grilles to a bar-type grille. I have a 2000 setup on my truck because I had the dealer install it before the 2001 L's came out.
