hey sampson,

trucks in holbrook right now, sas is getting wrapped up at a buddies shop. should be about another 2 weeks, (its not a priority for him and i get to use a shop for free when he has time for me), but yeah once shes back on the road and eating ricers ill def send you a PM and we can meet up. just wish i had the money to do the body work on it. the old body styles were a breading ground for rust. my little 302 is to tired and underpowered to move the truck anymore. my next plan is to swap in a 468 from a 70s, lincoln mark VII, a C6 or a 5 speed. and put a sterling full floater out back and put Dana 44 HD knuckles and spindles and stuff to make the front 8lug too. ill try an figure out how to post some pics. ill be home this weekend from umass dartmouth, so ill take some pics at the shop. some day down the road ill switch the coil springs out for leafs in the front and a dana 60.

if theres any other pre97 guys out there let me know, always looking for new friends in the area.

yeah i just started my freshman year at umass dartmouth. im going for mechanical engineering. but yeah all she does it eat up money, when i bought the truck in 08. it only had bald 33s. and a 4 inch suspension lift. i added dual shock setups and 2" coil spacers. then a 3" body lift. and the f350 leafs. then broke both radius arms at the same time and said screw the ttb im going solid axle. and the ttb destroyed both my front 35" BFG A/Ts. but either way they are too small with the sas 6" and 3"bl. thinking about getting cutout flares and 40" ground hawgs or TLS or Thornbirds. ive dropped so much money it makes me sick.

what the current set up on your truck.. lift, tires, gears, engine mods and total hp and ft/lbs. the stock modifed class is probably where you'll be placed. and the run fr the class group is fairly easy to get through. ive seen non lifted with street tires rangers get through. as long as you have four wheel drive, youll be fine. the entry fee is 25 including your pit pass, and each additional pit pass is 15. you have to have a pit pass if you want to be in the pit area.

Stock 5.4 with exhaust and intake. 35 Goodyear ats 6 inch procomp and a lead foot. It's 4wd fx4. I don't know how I'd do. I think I would maybe be able to get somewhat thru. Would love the thrill of doing it
