howitzer......holy crap. All this time I thought you were from down here and I just seen you're from Ossining. Thats right around my old home town. I was raised in Lake Carmel up near Brewster. All my family is (was) from the Peekskill, Montrose area. I think my dad grew up in Ossining.

Small world

I get that way sometimes. I feel one coming up this Friday (Cinco di Mayo). The good thing about Alzheimer's is that you can hide your own Easter eggs!

Lightbulb Sooooooo

Is anyone still interested in a NorthEast meet?

The wife has a Titan meet in Turnersville this past weekend. Over 35 Titans showed from as far out as Michigan and South Carolina!!!!

Needless to say, I'm a little jealous and I was feeling out of place owning a Ford...

Rather than just meet in some crappy parking lot, maybe we should try meeting at a park with trails so we can "get a little mud on the tires?"

Here's the link for Paragon http://www.paragonap.com/

Im game just depends on my work schedule, I work every other weekend. I am also centrally located so it doesnt matter where we all meet.

Hey now, thats not very nice

How was Paragon? Could we go there and camp overnight? Its about 3 1/5 hours from me, so thats cool. Are the trails ok for stock trucks? Im not lifted or leveled as I'm sure others are. I would hate to go to a place with trails I couldn't drive on.

I really want to get a meet together, but driving over three hours I would deff. want to camp overnight.

Paragon was incredible!!! We stuck with level 1 trails and "2wd access roads" and it was great!!!

Actually, there are 2 campgrounds within 5 or 6 miles of the park. Also, there are a few hotels with discounted rates (for Paragon) for those who don't want to camp.

There was only one other lifted truck in our group and the other 5 trucks were totally stock 4X4s. They we able to do everything I could do. No one got stuck all day either.

Actually, I left mine in 2WD mode most of the day and had no problem.

Thumbs up

I'm sure there would be plenty of beer. We could do a massive cookout on the campfire, etc...

Oh yeh..plenty of beer and grub to cook on the fire. I think camping would be great. I hate sleeping in hotels. Maybe get there Friday night and set up camp, go to Paragon on Saturday then camp Saturday night and leave on Sunday.

That sounds like a perfect plan to me.

I guess we need to narrow down a weekend and then publisize the crap out of so we get some good attendance.
