PICS: 2011 King Ranch Super Duty
I'm guessing this wasn't a policy that had when the 6.4 came out huh?
I got a card in my mailbox today inviting me to a "sneak peek" of the 2011 Super Duty at the dealer I bought my F-150 from. Of course, I'm on duty that day and won't be able to go. I have no need for one, but I would like to see them.
Got to seem them already, Mike Rowe was here and showing them off for some select fleet buyers. Pretty cool gig. I'm hearing 20+ MPG on the highway too....
I agree with this statement, you could almost buy two nice F-150s for the price of 1 F-250/350 of similar set up and a diesel. I can bet the two F-150s would last longer and be MUCH cheaper to operate overall unless your towing 10K lbs day in and day out.
I will say that the ford reps kept plugging 20+ mpg but when asked for proof to back it up there was silence.
I just can't get past the "extra" extra costs to owning a diesel now days including the need to keep filling the UREA tank and if it runs dry you are stranded on the side of the road.

I'm with you, man. I love it.
