I have a 2014 F-150 platinum. I've notice that sometimes the vehicle mark is off sometimes. Sometimes up to miles off. Now there is a blinking circle around the vehicle mark. The GPS on my cell phone never does this when the truck system goes crazy.

 

Personally not familiar with that issue but I have heard of the vehicle mark being off, keep searching and asking I did see a how to calibrate that somewhere just don't remember where.
