Does anybody know if an aftermarket navigation antenna will work on a factory ford navigation unit? I don't want to spend $50+ for an OEM one that will do exactly what a $10 or $20 one will do. Do you have a link or know what type of connector will work (SMA etc...)? I did this with my Sirius unit and the aftermarket antenna works great. Did try to search, all people were saying is get an aftermarket because they are cheaper, but nobody said which brand or connector type or if it actually worked good. Thanks for any help...

 

Nobody? I think I have found that the connector is FAKRA-H but now I can't find an aftermarket antenna with that connector. ANY help would be great.
