SYNC question
Not the actual "sync" setup, but you can get the same features that sync has on an aftermarket headunit.
For example, my kenwood dnx7120 has a usb input for thumb drives, or you can get the optional ipod cable that allows full ipod control that is as fast as using the click wheel on the ipod (sync can't even do that) and there is an optional bluetooth adapter that allows voice control of bluetooth equipped cell phones. The next step up from mine (the 8120) has built in bluetooth.
My wife has an 08 fusion w/sync and it is a pain to use an ipod on it, the only nice feature that works really well is the bluetooth for the phones, the rest of the sync stuff is useless.
Oh, I forgot to mention, the kenwood 7120 and 8120 have touch screen controls and a wireless remote, the factory headunits don't even have that
