I bought a used 07 King Ranch and i guess the previous owner got a nav unit out of a mercury. Long story short the nav part of the unit doesnt work but the radio does. Can a Ford dealer reprogram this? Any help is Greatly Appreciated!

ok so im going to send out my unit to the above mentioned guys in about a week. and ive got a dumb question...is the unit tied into any part of the alarm that would cause the truck not to run seeing how i dont have a unit to put in the truck till i get the navi back and still have to drive the truck?
