Indash radar?

I want to somehow put a radar detector in my ashtray slot. Any companies make indash detectors that have the sensors mount sum where else?

I have seen them before. Usually not cheap though. Here is what I found while googling quickly.

I guess you can't show pictures from another forum.

Check out my gallery in the forum.com site.

I can take pictures of mine but I have a K40 radar 2000P. You cannot even tell that I have radar on my truck. There are two little pods right around my gauges to let me know the radar coming from the front or back or both.

Work awesome!! Let me know if you want pictures.....

UsfBull,
No, but I had it installed when some other work was done.
I came up with the concept, the installer needed some help finishing the ash tray.

There is an LED in the dash, to the side of the speedo. This alerts me when the ash tray is closed.

I'll add another LED to the gauge Pod I'm going to add. For when my head is turned in the mirror.

Thanks for the compliments.

Does anyone have other suggestions for a RADAR mod not using the ashtray slot. Mine has been modified for center channel speakers for my 5.1 surround system.

K40 has one called the calibre system. It is a detector and jammer. Sometimes on systems you buy from them they pay for any speeding tickets you get for the first year! (you still get points though)
