Hey wook the jvc's have 12 different color backgrounds to choose from (shame it doesn't have customizable backgrounds like the pioneers), I either go with green for the gauges or red for the needles on the gauges. kp has the newer version of the jvc with the built in bluetooth and the smaller screen. I have an older version with the bluetooth adapter (not built in) and the 7" screen. Here's a pic or 2
Go to K.C Autosounds website, tons of info and pictures on the JVCs and alot of other HUs Pioneer, Kenwood etc.

nope on the display/button color changes from what I can tell. I actually like Mitch's unit better because it has real buttons including a mute and the bigger screen. They were in the middle of bluetooth model switchover and there weren't any in stock for awhile which is why I went with the unit I did. Now I wish I would have waited.

Wow, you don't have color choices with yours? Didn't realize that. Even without that, you still have a pretty sweet unit kp. For me, all the features these JVCs come with, outweighs getting any other unit, especially the detachable face plate. I've had alot of different HUs over the years, but I've had more JVCs than any thing else. If I were to go with a different unit, I'd lean towards getting a Kenwood, they have a newer model out that's an upgrade to the 8120 (can't remember what model # it is) that is really nice but also really xspensive. Not sure about this, but I think you can get my unit still but now they throw in the bluetooth adapter in w/ it. In other words, you don't have to pay extra for the bt adapter. Or is it built in, I can't remember.
