Has anyone used this ebay backup camera?

Looks decent and adjustable so I can adjust it to view the hitch. Anyone ever use this particular one?

I have a very similar if not identical one on my truck right now. It works very well, I have mine angeled so I can see the edge of my bumper and about 2 feet away from it for backing up to cars and trailers. Works great, night vision actually works quite well, lights up the area good with out reverse lights on. Def worth 30 bucks.

make sure you get the NTSC version. The PAL is the European standard and will not work in the US.

I thought that too but when I looked at what my headunit took for an input to AUX, it mentioned CVBS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Composite_video) Which is basically an RCA cable. No problems there but in reading the wiki site it mentions "Video signal NTSC, PAL or SECAM video" so I would probably get NTSC just because it seem logical but the description mentions "Composite video is often designated by the CVBS acronym, meaning "Color, Video, Blank and Sync". In German (with PAL being a German invention by Telefunken's Walter Bruch) the abbreviation FBAS (Farb-Bild-Austastung-Synchron) means the same." Any thoughts there?

Sorry to high-jack, it just seemed relevant.

I believe that the H/U only has an NTSC decoder in it... so that only leaves 1 option as far as I know. If you had a NTSC device sending video signals you would have to have a NTSC decoder on the other end to make sense out of the input signal. Here are the specifications from the manual.

Display
Screen size/aspect ratio ....... 5.8 inch wide/16:9
(effective display area: 128.1
× 71 mm)
Pixels ............................................. 336 960 (1 440 × 234)
Display method ........................ TFT active matrix
Color system ..............................NTSC
Durable temperature range (power off)
.................................................. ... -20 °C to +80 °C

I bought one that was a keyhole camera for backing up to the travel trailer, I call it the marrage saver. I also have another one on the back of the trailer, they are from the same place I bought them off of ebay from a guy in Regina Canada
