I went with the 7120 because of price. Im only buying a new setup because I have to. I was content with my old setup.

Also I didnt want to spend the money on 8120 because I dont need/have center audio, I dont use BT, and second USB port? Ill just throw in a small usb hub in case.

The GPS antenna i guess would be a more appropriate term. Isnt there a GPS thing you need to mount for the GPS to work?

Should be an antenna like a sat. antenna only a little smaller. I ran mine up the driver side pillar, along the plastic header to the back and out the 3rd brake light centering it about 6" from the light on the roof.

Installed my 7120 w/ip300v today. The ipod controls are so much better than the setup for the stock radio was. With the touch screen controls you can actually scroll very quickly thru the ipod library.

I'm stll learning how to use it and how to control everything.

take a look at at the JVC NX7000 it does everything you want it to do, probably has the nicest brightest screen out of all of them it's a 7'' touch screen verry detailed maping software and also has a detachable front screen, which I believe is the only double din on the market thatdoes that, check it out.
