Where to buy upgraded map disc for OEM Navi

Just curious if anybody has updated their navigation software lately. Not sure what the latest version is or a good place to get it (besides the dealer that is). Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Beware of Ebay I've had a 50/50 mix of OEM and copies and quite a few of the copies wouldn't work!!!

Ford Navigation 7P DVD

I have backup copies of the 7P DVD. It is running in an 07 Lariat and an 07 King Ranch. Stable with no issues. I make them on DVD+RDL dvds. I can send you one for $50.00 includes shipping and handling. I can take PayPal.

So is 7P indeed the latest? This would be 2 year old software then right? I wonder how often they upgrade their software.

I may be interested, thanks.

Through 2007 and 2008 NavTeq only shows 7P. I have seen 9P but it is for the 09's with the Sony system.

Also, if you go to the Ford Factory Nav site where you can purchase the maps, it will tell you what areas/cities have been updated. Odds are your area hasn't even been updated, so purchasing the newer software may not even be worth.
My father was interested in getting an update, so I looked online and the streets for our area weren't updated, so I told him not to waste his money.

I'm running the 6P. If the 7P is updated from the 6P then I'm interested.

Click on the "In the Box" tab. You should see the updated cities.

I would agree with being caution of eBay, but I would not avoid it totally.

That is a good example of what NOT to avoid (hehe that is me selling it! :P ).

I have heard of people getting screwed, I have yet to (YET to).
