Just run the RCA to the pioneer and hook the power wires to the reverse light circuit.

Or the head unit must have a wire to run to the reverse light circuit as well.

Thanks for responding, So your sayin that their is a reverse wire hooked already from the head-unit to the circuit. And if not all i have tyo do is splice into the circuit and as soon as i put it in reverse the screen will change to the camera.
Thanks for the help Im completely lost

Do you have a manual for the head unit? There should be a reverse wire. It is the only way it would know to turn the camera on when backing up.

you have to find the reverse power wire(it have 12 Vdc when in the reverse gear position) and splice that to the head unit. this will tell the head unit to auto switch when you put the trans into reverse. If you head unit does not have this wire you will have to manually switch it to AUX everytime you wanna see the camera. the HU should also have a AUX or BU CCAM video input (yellow RCA) this get attached to the yellow plug on the camera you have. (from the HU down along the truck frame back to the camera with one single long RCA cable) gound the black wire on the camera and splice the red into the reverse lights. if you have the 7-pin trailer plug you can pick it up there. REMEMBER TO SOLDER ALL CONNECTIONS DO NOT USE THOSE 3M 3 Way things

If you don't have the manual I will look it up for you tonight and tell you which wire you need to tie into. I know it has something about it in the manual. Also you can go to this website dedicated to the avic series and they really know there stuff.

WAIT!!!!

First, tie switched power and ground to the Rvrse cam.

Plug, the RCA into the monitor's brown RCA connector

Then, take and connect the Purple/White wire on the back of the D3 to the Black/Pink wire low in the DKP. (Its the only Black/Pink coming out the grommet underneath your feet.

You've been told in very plain english what you need to do. If your still unsure of how this works I would highly recommend you not mess with this at all and take it to a professional.

The information you seek is NOT in the owners manual. It is in the installation guide.

Go to page 13.
