Temporary navigation

I borrowed a navigation unit for a trip to St Louis. I used it for a week, then returned it. It worked so well I think I'll get one of my own.

If you do decide to go portable, go with the Garmin. They make a lot of the Nuvi's but the 205W, 255W, etc are great.

I'm deciding between the Nuvi 265WT and 765T. I think the 265WT will win out.

True, and I could easily get an OEM unit, but I'm leaning toward a portable unit that I can take with me in another vehicle. I like the sand bag design which works great, but can be removed from the vehicle for safe keeping.

I would do that if I could get it all with an in dash. I would be happy with the new Sync, but otherwise what I've seen today just falls short.

Here is my list, and it's all or nothin. I want an in dash unit with a large screen, and speaks the names of the streets through the vehicle's stereo system while the stereo plays music. I want an integrated blue tooth that automatically syncs with my phone when I start the vehicle, and will quiesce the music when the rings. I want to be able to look up POIs on the nav system and have the nav system dial those business if I want to, and though I don't care much for speaking command, I would like to do as much as I can through the steering wheel.

Am I asking too much?

It looks like a great unit, but there is not enough information there to know for sure if it will do all that I want. I would like to see it in operation.
