Need Help Installing GPS Vehicle Tracker

My needs are pretty basic, but seem far from it looking under the damn dashboard of my 2001 f150, 4.6L, automatic, 4x2 truck.

I need a constant 12v power source (under dash strongly preferred)

I need a variable 12v power source, that is on when the vehicles ignition is on, and off when its off

I have spent several hours sinking volt meters through wire insulation and have yet to find what I need right under the dash, which is where I need to be.

If anyone has any advice as to what color/location wire I can tap into it would be really helpful!

Thanks Guys

Nice name...

umm...you could use the acc lead for the stereo and the unswitched power source...

you could also find these directly off the ignition.....
