Z2 gone.

Today, my grandfather drove my truck into New Orleans. Dropped some family off at the airport and went to the casino. Bout 10-11pm he comes home says bad news. Go out to the truck and I have a huge gaping hole where my Z2 used to be...

Locks popped, Airbag wires cut, 3Sixty missing, and some other boxes/modules now gone (hopefully thats it). And I am **** out of luck because he didnt get a police report.

Why the hell did I deserve this, first I can no longer drive it (dropped from my and my sisters joint insurance), then that.

That sucks man. Thieves are the effing worst. I hope they try to install and end up with a vehicle fire get, trapped inside and end up with 3rd degree burns over 90% and don't die just suffer.

Sorry to hear that but you and I both know that the field you work in, it should be easy to come back by those things. Look at it that way. This is everyone's worst nightmare. I hate thieves also.

I feel for ya brother. I've had two show cars stolen and countless break-ins or vandalisms over the many years. Latest one was a couple years ago where I lost about $9000 off my Camaro right here in the driveway while I was asleep. Wheels, blower intake, and all audio/video. I honestly am glad that I never catch them in the act because I feel I would absolutely loose control of the situation and be behind bars for murder just from the years of aggression built up over all the loss. I love my vehicles and my toys and I know what fate could come to them with thieves. All you can do is say "damn it, they got me"

I can't even put myself into the mind state of a thief. I can't damage other peoples property, take something that's not mine. I would just chew my guts up after I did something like that. I would hope that the guilt kills them inside after damaging or taking someones stuff that they worked so hard to get. Some people are just evil and that's there high to do something like that and those people scare me.

PMason - Make sure yours is locked up. Do what you have to do to preserve that beautiful unit. I dont think I will buy another one. Maybe a P880PRS but not another of those.

KCAuto- I remember talking to you about your camaro. I still feel bad for you there.

This is the second DDin player attacked. My 06 Explorer had a W200 in it. Someone broke in it and couldnt get it out the dash, therefore punched the screen. Put a ECE 6620 in it, still safe(knock on wood). Now this.

My address, my VIN, insurance info, family's addresses, phone numbers... It really kinda worries me what they have.

My truck is in the garage majority of the time and when I do go places I try not to stay long even though I know it doesnt take long for them to probably take it. Once again I'm sorry to hear that.

When I used to work at the night clubs downtown I would stick razor blades under the door handle for those handle checkers that run around the parking lot. Basically I would double side tape a magnetic strip to the back side of my door handle.

Then I would stick the disposable snap off razor blade to it.

There were many times that I found blood on my car. Just had to remember that I had them there when I went to grab my door handle.

Ya, he does but hes bout over it.

I talked to a friend of mine in the NOPD and got a police report... I love being in the audio industry so many good connections to be made... I know the Hornets president of sales, I didnt charge him much so anytime I "want" box seats I have them.

You will see me try that from now on. Im done playing.

P.S... Dont try to steal my truck because you will get a airbag to the face. If it starts without the valet button pressed right, POOF!
