Valor head units?

Does anyone have any information on this company? Looking to buy a new double din GPS/DVD head unit. Saw some on crutchfield, but haven't heard of them.

I will be going to my distributor's trade show April 19th and 20th. I will be sitting in a hour training class for Valor Multimedia. Let you know what I find out.

When Valor first hit the streets I pushed a few of thier units. This was a couple years ago. EVERY unit that I sold I had to warranty once or twice. A couple units I traded a customer into a Kenwood or Pioneer unit which wound up eating my profits or even putting me into a negative on the sale. At least I knew the customer had a solid unit.

Valor has since went through improvements but they left a really bad impression with me at first. I was totally shocked to see that Crutchfield was selling thier units. I have now three distributors that I can purchase Valor from but I'm simply scared of the line now.

Thanks for the response. I was just looking through crutchfield and saw them. I would like to add a new radio/dvd plater that has the flat screen. I want to add a back up camera to the head unit.
Let me know what you find out at the trade show.

Saturday I will be sitting through a whole Valor training deal at my distributors trade show in Omaha. I was also informed that they will have a demo vehicle in thier booth as well to show all thier equipment and thier new speaker/amplifier line. I'll keep you posted when I come back on Sunday.

Just installed valor dd head unit last week and so far no problems. as you know, you can't beat the price and I just needed something that would make noise, play my ipod, and ocassionally play a dvd when on long road trips. i was very surprised it came with a cable for my ipod along with many line out jacks and rca hookups for amps, etc. that can really make upgrading your stereo simple. I'm not using the navigation, back up camera, or sat. radio although, the unit has the capability. I also changed out my 4 door speakers from the paper cones to sony and I now have a really nice sounding unit all for under $300. Go figure. I have a kenwood unit in my corvette that doesn't sound any better than this unit. Don't know how long it will last, but right now it's doing fine.
