I know no one on this site has a D-3 but I just wanted to know if i get this kit...

Should i be able to do ipod, GPS, Bluetooth, and steering wheel controls??

Would this unit be flush in an 04 Scab?

and i can add backgrounds correct?

that auction comes with everything that you asked about(ipod,bluetooth,etc...)...don't know about the steering wheel controls though.

yes the d3 sits nice and flush with the 04-08 dash...search there are numerous threads with pics of what it looks like installed.

by pass the parking brake and move the yellow wire up one space on the wiring harness and u will be able to watch dvd's while ur driving

PAC makes a Steering Wheel Interface (SWI) that, when installed, enables you use your maintain your steering wheel controls. You can program each steering wheel button to do one of 9 (or so) different functions.

There are different models for different vehicles. I have an '04 F-150 with the factory sub. The PAC SWI-PS was the model that I ordered from Amazon.

I haven't installed it yet, so I can't speak from experience. But that was the result of my research. Hope this helps.

The only part I recommend with programming the PAC-SWIPS is reading through all the steps first, then going back and doing everything up to step 21 (I want to say, its the steering wheel buttons) and then writing down a step sheet. What buttons, when and what order. But very easy unit to program.
