Buying the D3

Hey guys. My wife is getting me the D3 for Christmas. I found two places that were cheaper than crutch field. I was wondering if anyone has bought from these places and had any problems. Or if anyone knows of better deals or coupons.thanks a lot and Merry Christmas.

I bought off Ebay for about the same price, all went well. Now if only I could find the time to install the thing.

thanks guys. I went with onlinecarstereo.com. $799 for the AVIC-D3X is a great price. i cant wait till it gets here so I can slap that bad boy in. I think Im going with a pair of the Alpine type S for the front doors.

Is it worth amping these speakers? If so what would you recommend?
Thanks

$200 is nothing. I just came back from a local shop that wants $425 to install a Kenwood DNX7100 & $125 to install the blue tooth kit. Not to mention they are about $200 too high on the price of the head unit itself.

the install is a piece of cake....you will need the mounting kit, and aftermarket harness/harness's(either non-audiophile or audiophile).

i have never understood why people pay those crappy installers all that money to install their audio products half a**. it is not difficult at all.

Well I got it all installed. For the most part its was easy. I bought the truck used so I had to deal with whoever had it last idiotic wiring jobs
Any way The Alpines sound great, I can't wait to get an amp to them and a sub box as well.
Here my pic but you guys have this before.

FYI: Autotoys.com will not ship to an address other than the confirmed billing address (tied to the credit card being used). And they are rude.
