Bluetooth handsfree idea

So, I don't know if this exhists or not but here is my idea I would love to see. I have a treo with bluetooth stereo capabilities. I have been thinking about a unit that would fill the void on top of the dash of the 04-08's that is a bluetooth receiver with a headphone jack output. The unit would receive the stereo feed from the phone (or Ipod with adapter) that would output the feed, in stereo, and plug directly into the aux input on the dash. It could also have a built in speaker for handsfree and would fit the void or be a very small unit that would mount in that tray easily. What do you think? Does it already exhist?

I have wondered about that same setup too. The problem, I see, is that you also need to get power to the bluetooth receiver.

Instead of going that path, I have an iPod dock installedhttp://www.peripheralelectronics.com/prodDetails.aspx?strProductID=276

Instead of connecting an iPod, I connected a bluetooth adaptor. The one I bought is http://anycom.com/products/bluetooth...&partno=CC3318

Finally, a bluetooth enabled MP3 player -- I have the Insignia Pilot from Best Buy.

The combination works like a charm.
