Smile Avic-n3

Hey I have an issue with my nav. It seems that I can't connect the rear RCA plugs directly to the amp. I have to use a HI to LOW converter and the sound really isn't that great. Anyone know about this issue? I get a real distorted sound when i connect from the RCA plug. I have a Hifonics amp and a 2 12" Kickers. Please advise. Thanks in advance.

You should be connecting the sub out up to it in the first place. Thats odd.

Uhh... Not being there and seeing what your talking about (w/ amp and deck) its kinda hard to diagnose.

Try running a new set of RCAs directly there, and check your gains.

Yeah, thats were i have it connected. But I don't know what it might be, cause amp and speakers in a different car don't have this problem. I will keep diagnosing to see what my problem might be.
