if i plan on installing the bypass next week do i still have to connect the parking break and foot break wires??

I put mine under the oblong plastic panel on the passenger side of the dash...

Fastened it to a bracket under there and it works flawlessly.

Completely stealth and easy to remove later, if you need to...

You won't need to connect anything to the parking or brake wiring if you use the PAC-TR7 bypass gimmick.

If you are using the PAC bypass then no. The PAC utilizes a series of events during "boot" up that makes the unit think its in park.

when grounding the head unit can i attach the ground wire to the thin metal that supports the dash??? or can i connect it to the wireing harness ground wire??

I wired mine into the wiring harness ground and it works fine.

sorry old thread but when connecting pac tr7 says hook to accessory connection.....where is this .
