I hope it is out soon and it better be worth the money. It irritates me that the Alpine web site does not have any information about it other than the catalog. Crutchfield has more information than Alpine about it.

gps antenna on roof

My fear is having the light leak after installation.

I would be interested in what others have done using the B100...I am sure they are pretty similar.
I know this answer is 3 mths late but thought I'd post anyway. Just installed a JVC headunit w/navigation and ran the gps wire along the inside weather stripping of driver side doors and then inside edge of headliner out the 3rd breaklight. Wire is completely hidden, and was easy to do, it only took me about 5 minutes to do and no taking down or pulling back of the headliner or drilling holes in the roof. A little clear silicone on the wire at the break lightand your good to go. Antenna is on the roof (centered) w/ clear line of sight and looks good from the inside. I know it's not an Alpine, but all those antennas are pretty much the same, with a magnetic base to stick to the roof of your cab. Hope this helps.
