In Dash 6 CD to NAV with 6 CD

Hi, I have a 2004 Expedition with the 6 CD indash radio. I would like to install the NAV radio with the 6 CD indash. My truck was available with the NAV but it was a single CD. I think Ford started offering a NAV with 6 CD in 2006. Has anyone retrofit this unit into a 2004? Thank you all in advance for your help.

Unfortunately the 6disc nav system that fits the new 07 expedition and all 04+ f150's is too large for the older bodystyle expys. The new unit is a double din and a half, while the old unit is a double din. Also the wiring is completely different.

That is the unit I want to install in my 2008 F250. First of all, I have the Premium MP3/6-CD Changer currently (non-Audiophile). I have two questions. Will that unit fit in my 2008 F250 and if so, does it have a place to connect the built-in jack for connecting my iPod to the dashboard? Thanks for any info you can give me! I looked at this picture of the 2008 F250 on the Ford website, and it looks the same.

PS - This is the iPod jack I was referring to.

Hey Mark, a little off topic but did you ever figure out if you could make the NAV work in my 05 Mustang with the Shaker 500?

I also need a Factory Nav system

Nothinbutaford,

I tried calling you several times by telephone; no luck. I would like to purchase a Factory Nav System for my 05 F150 Lariat complete with the CD, ipod connector and GPS antenna. I currently have the factory 6 disc audiophile system. Please pm me with the cost. I live in Vancouver, BC Canada.
