I saw a blip about mobil-ease on their website. I am not good at being an electrician. I want a 2007 lariat with NAV. How much will this add-on run?

 

Ford is working on a bluetooth kit to work with the nav radio so the numbers will comeup on screen etc., but they have not released a delivery date yet.

 

I've installed at least 30 mobile-ease. It's just a T-harness that goes between the radio and the vehicle harness. Not cuting or splicing. Just stick the mic to the center console overhead or anywhere you like and then stick the control pad to the dash bezel. Stick the brain under the radio and that's about it. Ofcourse you will have to route the wiring and tie it up nicely but it's very easy.

I did run into a problem with the 2007 Navigator. Turns out that there is a harness issue and it will be due out during the second quarter. So the FMCdealer website says.

The regular mobile ease will work but it won't display or interact directly with the nav. The new one is supposed to do so. Untill that one is available I would suggest the tellphone 4200 from raytell. It has the best voice recognition and a screen to diplay phone numbers etc.
