New Here

Well, the title says it. I'm 19 years old and from upstate NY. Just bought a shiny '05 fx4 s/cab with only 22k on her a few weeks ago.

Anyways, I've been lurking around here to try and outfit her with a decent AV system(I have the audiophile, but it really isn't anything special).

As of now I have or is in transit to my house:

Phoenix Gold rsd 10
-I did some research and a lot of people are saying good things about this sub. I found it for a price I couldn't resist.

MusicMoose Single 10" Box
-Volume was good, asthetics seem nice, and price was right.

Phoenix Gold 4.0:2
-Should have decent power bridged. Not really my first pick but it was cheap as hell and I will upgrade over the summer when I have cash. Mind you I like to listen to my music, not have it shake the change out of my pocket, so I am not worried about having gobs of power. This will get mounted on a piece of mdf behind my back seat.

Panny CQ-VD6503U
-I know a lot of people have issues with this unit for a lack of available nav, and other accessories. It is however, perfect for my needs. All I want is a Double Din, in dash, touschscreen DVD player. Nothing more, nothing less. The main thing i was looking for is iPod integration, and it seems to do that fairly well.

This should all go in next Sat(barring any complications).

Things to come:
-Nice set of components(I know my system may not sound the bast without them, but I need to settle down on the spending for a couple months.)
-5 channel amp to power them.
-Tint on front windows
-2.5" Leveling kit
-Wheels and tires when mine go down hill(Hopefully later than sooner)

That's all for now, and I look forward to and appreciate some of the knowledge I have already recieved here.

Got most of it put in tonite. Took my time and did it right. What I did for the amp was mount a piece of mdf, then put the cover or whatever onto the back wall and then mounted the amp through the cover and the mdf. all my wires are run, just waiting for my headunit and box to come in (hopefully monday). I will get some pictures before it all goes back together.

P.S. I don't know why every makes taking the back of the seat off out to be such a big deal, I had it off in a matter of seconds.

Everyone else here is very muscular and we can't get our big strong hands between the seats cushions as easily as puny weaklings can.
