hey guys... i recently had my avic z1 installed at a local shop and was told that all my factory speakers were still going to work afterwards... however my factory audiophile sub doesnt work anymore... is there a way to rig it?

 

go to AVIC411.com and they can get you going in the right direction. I have a Z1 as well, but I do not have the factory subwoofer. I did read something about you needing something to trick the factory amplifier into staying on. I think you have to send a 5volt signal to it, but I could be leading you wrong so check out the link above to confirm.
