I didn’t do much driving today but from what I saw the Navtraffic is worth it. On my trip home it showed me an accident that I was coming up to. I also passed an area where, according to XM, there was construction going on at night. Sure enough, when I arrived there the construction equipment was parked along the side of the street.

Tomorrow is the real test. Making a trip to the west coast of Florida. So far I’m very impressed.

To be honest, I chickened out of this install. I’ve done (with a friend) all my own audio and mechanical work up till now but when I opened the box it looked intimidating. Plus, I wanted them to do a proper bypass of the safety features and I couldn’t find a definitive post regarding the D2s.

The installer I went to is one of the better in S. Florida. They used their mounting bracket. Considering how much experience they have it still took them 3.5hrs. BUT, they did a magnificent job. Even ran the XM antanna through the 3rd tail light.

Thats the Harman Kardon Drive + Play. It's hands down the best ipod integration system I've seen/used...and I've used a bunch.

It comes with the screen, a control **** that mimics all exactly how the ipod controls are and the "brain" where everything plugs in.

Here some pics...
