I have a 2003 Eddie Bauer Expedition. Is their a preexisting DVD hookup above the headliner? I want to install a factory DVD in my Expedtion.

 

what do you have for a headunit ? factory or aftermarket, if factory is it a nav or just am/fm/cd ?

 

I have a factory in dash 6 Disc changer head unit. My expedition came with sunroof, but did not come with the overhead DVD. I have a factory overhead DVD to get installed, but unsure if there is a wiring harness for it in the vehicle. I did look above the headliner and there is no loose wire up there, but that doesn't mean there is not a hookup somewhere. Can you help?

 

The reason I asked is if it was a factory nav piece the radio may have needed to be reprogramed to recognize the dvd. The radio you have probably does not need this. Look on the 04-06f150 section I believe someone on there has posted locations to look for that harness.

 

I am not sure what you mean by looking at 4-06 f150 section? What is that? Where is that located?
