Just bought an Eclipse 5435...what cameras are compatible?

I finally got around to getting this system, and I was wondering if anybody had a list of compatible rearview cameras for this HU. I read a couple of posts that the 5435 has a plug-in for their backup camera, but will an aftermarket camera work with the AUX input? I'm looking for a wide (110-120degree) angle FOV, preferably with night vision.

TIA,

Hajii

Eclipse BEC-205 cam is the only one, no night vision.... its your only option, anything else will not automatically switch on when you goto reverse...
it would be a pain to have to go in to the menu and turn on your cam all the time.....
Cam is a very easy install if you already hooked up the reverse wire on your install, just install the cam and plug it in.... done deal....
Cam can be gotten off EBay for 150.00-175.00 or 250.00 at the Eclipse Dealer...
You can look in my gallery for pics of the cam.....

I really wish I could've seen this thing @ Troyer's Dyno Day... I had to hit the road early though.

In addition to the feedback from F150Truckin, the image you see on an another brand of rear camera may be reversed (left side is shown on right side on screen).

I installed an Audovox nightvision camera and had the same issue that were noted above. And yes, it was a pain to go to the Aux input each time to see the camera.

I switched it out for the Eclipse stock camera. Backup lights from the truck provide plenty of light at night to see behind you.
