Help with Headrest Monitors - Not turning on...

Anyone have some advise?

I just installed my two headrest monitors and cant seem to get them to show video. The power on the monitors turn on and thats about it...I mean, its not rocket science...and yet, I cant do it.

I have a Kenwood DDX7017 with all the goodies...Sirius, iPod Module, Navigation, etc...

When playing DVD's, it shows fine on my screen...just cant get the pic up on my monitors.

HELP!!!

Anyone have this problem at first install? Do the settings need to be a certain way on the deck? My monitors were bought NEW and arent the greatest brand...but one of the two should work if wired correct. Its possible, but I dont see how I could have got two broken monitors.

Wiring guidance anyone? How did you run yours?

Does your 7017 allow for two monitors? I am pretty sure my 7015 only has one video out. Anyway, my 7015 does have a setting in it that allows you to specify what source to send to the video out. Check under the A/V interface screen. My manual has it around page 73. Hope that helps.

Ill take a look at it...Im sure it should allow it...Ive seen it done over and over. I dont even get that blue screen when the monitors turn on. Just a green light...I was thinking it was a setting in the head unit, but Ive tried it all. Im going to pull the deck again to double check wiring. Im going to see if I can also plug something directly to the monitor (gaming console or something). I was in a rush last night, so wasnt sure if I was using the right one.

What settings do you all have for those with Dual Monitors??? Kenwood DDX7017 users....

For some reason, one side decided to turn on and now it works as it should...no problem. Now to figure out why the second isnt turning on.

I went to show my friend my setup...told him the rear didnt work...he pressed the power button and all of a sudden the screen turned on. Now when I turn my truck off and on, it turns on without problems. Its like the screen needed some sort of jump start...now to get the other one to work.
