As Jump N mentioned, here are some progress pics. I will be posting them as the day progresses. So far so good! And yes, it is in some VERY good hands for the surgery. Same doctor who helped with the body lift on my truck.

Couple more pics before lunch break here. Coolant drained, radiator removed, front coolers loose, everything is unhooked, about ready to pull the body bolts and lift the cab next.

315-75-16 BFG KM2's. Went with 16"s for wheel and tire availability. They are roughly 35" tires. Same as what JD had on his silver truck.

And I'm going to get rid of the "Sport 4x4" sticker

Going up!!!

Cab spacers installed - going back together now.

Yes, that is smoke coming from the bottom of the vise!! Have to drill out the front core support to allow the bigger bolts to fit.

Probably could've had it all done in a day but that tech got interuppted twice today with other vehicles that he had to diagnose/fix/work on. Still have the AAL to do and a front end alignment so it's definitely not going to get done tonight.

Tomorrow - no problem!

I didn't realize that he was going to get an AAL too, and taking a tech away never helps but at least he will get it back tomorrow. I don't think I could sleep knowing my truck was getting lifted.

I know!! I wish I could've done something with my frame too when I did mine. If it wasn't so time consuming of a process. I was already on a time limit when we did my install.

I would imagine you won't want to come to Lincoln until after the Dr. appt.
Front end is done - lots of little stuff - brackets, relocations, etc. Fan shroud is in, coolers are in place, all cab spacers are in, etc. By the time the AAL gets done and the alignment, it'll probably be early/mid afternoon for final completion. All the hard stuff is done, should go a lot faster now to finish it all up.

Front spacers and coolers in place:

That's it for today. Not too bad for not starting on it until 9:30 or so and having 2 other vehicles to fix in between this job. More pics tomorrow as it gets closer to completion....stay tuned....

Awesome!!!!!!!

Man, I can't believe I'm really getting this done! Hope I like it!
Will plan on being there probably around 4:30ish. I'm having another buddy of mine do some touch up painting on my bumpers and a couple other things later this week. Yea, 05suprcrw, it's going to be like Christmas eve for a 5 year old for me tonight!!
