Yeah the Taco Ride is fun. I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t done it yet, go at least once. That is one of the main reasons why we leave so early heading down the trail. You figure it takes about an hour to get down there if you don’t stop. You have to be at the restaurant no later than 7pm or you could be waiting awhile. Plus the parking lot fills up quickly. We plan to go again next Thursday.

I'm going to Green Day next Thursday, so I won't be there. How old is your son, if I may ask? My oldest is 8, and I want to get him a nice bike next year that he can ride for a while. I saw a really nice Gary Fisher, 20" bike, single chainring in front, 6 speed rear cassette. Hoping he can handle that when he is 9.

Holy Crap it is Hot out, I guess summer is finally hear. Wanted to go fishing today but it is way to hot and windy. Sound like the same for tomorrow. I guess a road trip to Bass Pro Shop and Cabella's is in order.

My son is 10, he turns 11 in Nov. He is riding a Trek 7200 series Hybrid with a 24" frame. I had to custom cut the seat post for him to ride it but he flies down the trail on it. I always have to tell him to slow down hehe.

Yes it was hot out today. I spent the day at the pool with my son and some friends. It was nice to sit in the water and cool off!

I don't know where my motivation came from but after cleaning up some fallen tree limbs with Dustin I mowed my entire place, and did some odds and ends outside. Just didn't feel like sitting around inside I guess. Was hotter then hell outside. Just have to keep hydrated. Then we went to the fair at the Event Center for 4 or 5 hours. Was just as hot there!! Today should be better - nice and cool out right now at 7:00am. Going to head out for a bike ride I do believe.

That is funny, I just got back from riding 26 miles this morning. It was really nice out as far as temp (70), however it is cloudy though. I wanted to get out and back before it got over 90.

Boz, I'll be riding next Sunday for the Corporate cycling challenge. Doing the 42 mile Ft. Calhoun loop. Any plans for you to do the same?

Well, this is what I got accomplished this weekend:

Rode from the Bellevue Marina to the pedestrian bridge, approx 40 mile (?) round trip. Plenty of big river cruisers out, got some really good jumps in. There was this monster cruiser coming up river, couldn't get on plane to save his rear end, was pushing major wake. Approx 3 feet of wake was enough to get me sailing. I'm sure if someone has a camera on me, I had the cheesiest grin as I lined up the jump.

Got my tow mirrors on.

And it was hot Saturday, but riding on the river was AWESOME...

Thanks again Ty for letting me come out and get that wood. Got a good stock pile of it ready to go for winter now. All that is left is to split of it that was a little large.

I also got a lot accomplished, got the guys rear air delete filled and prepped for gluing down the vinyl sometime this week. The sub box needs 1 possibly 2 layers and it will be done as well. All in all I think that by the end of this week I will be able to have this guys project done for him, at least that is what I am shooting for anyway.

I love getting air off of big wakes, I am sure that was a blast. I probably would have been following that guy for the whole trip
Man those mirrors look awesome I am jealous. I definitely would like to eventually get a set of them.

My bike ride was interesting...to say the least. I figured I'd go a little farther than the normal 6-7 miles since it was nice and cool out. Also wanted to check out the Martell fire station since I now have a key for it. Right before I got there, it started sprinkling on me. I got there just in time and it started downpouring! I hung out there for a good 1/2 hour until I felt I had a good window to pedal the 5 miles back home. On the way home, another storm started creeping up behind me. At one point I actually heard a 'snap' like lightning had struck just behind me or close enough that an electrical transistor made some electrical noises. Scared the crap out of me! Pedaled twice as fast to get home then. Made it safe and sound - just dirty from the rain and wet gravel roads. Washed the bike off, took a shower and stayed indoors for the remainder of the rainy day.

Hey guys - my cousin is looking to buy a bike from our mutual friend. Has an ad on craigslist for $300 but said he'd sell it to my cousin for $250. Is this a good deal? Trek 6000
