I'm very thankful that I'm not standing at the rear bumper of a CME-55 or behind that damn 6610 Probe...
Me too!

Rock Pick & 36Fan Hello to you both....

36Fan - I am glad to hear you found work, sorry things didn't work out with us at AEE. We are doing okay and as you have said have diversified quite a bit over the last 2 years. Who are you working for?
Keep in touch...

Rock Pick, Tell Bill to get busy and quit surfing the net.... HEHEHEHEHEH
I do the IT stuff at AEE as well and boy isn't it fun pulling wires? The best line I get at work is "My computer is screwed up, what did you do with it"....

Well we still love the 04 SC Lariat, just wish the wife would not get it dirty.... It's black and I wash it every day. But I am not complaining, it sure is awesome looking now that I have the leveling kit on it.

Well both of you take care and check out our new website. www.aeeindy.com

cya......

freddy

Freddy - glad to hear you're enjoying the new truck. I don't know why you bother washing it w/ the weather we've been having!

I landed on my feet right behind you're lab. About a month after I started at Handex, my uncle offered to sell me his business. So now I do the environmental consulting during the day, and work on fire hydrants and backflow devices on the evenings and weekends.

How is the job down in Martinsville going? I saw your article in the Star a couple of months ago.

Tell Don I said hi.

You can check out our web page at: www.handex.com
It needs updated...

Congrats freddy - I see you've been promoted to VP.

How is the new ownership working out? I got an email from Steve a month or so after I started at this position asking me to come in for another interview.

36Fan, are you working for Brad? I see Scarpone from time to time. Yes, the new ownership is good and we are doing well. I would like to know more about your new business, my neighbor just got certified for backflow testing etc... He owns a landscape business and is getting into sprinklers etc.... He said that was a potential big business with backflow devices having to be tested???

call me sometime.........

RP, New truck, new office, new website, GEEZ you guys must be doing real well....

take care

freddy

Yep, I work for Brad - he was college budies w/ Bruce!

Their is good opportunity in the backflow business. We do some sprinkler systems, but not many. We are more focused on the internal devices in commercial facilties. Who certified your neighbor? We just won a battle w/ IDEM concerning transferring the tester course from my Uncle's business to my new business.

Smile Hoosier at Heart

Born in Indianapolis, lived in Jeffersonville, and went to grade school in Clarksville. Most of my non-immediate family still live in Indiana. I now live in Virginia; a pretty good state itself.

Where at on the west side? I grew up Plainfield, moved to Columbus for 5 years, now I'm back in Mooresville.

Went to school at Avon until my Senior year and switched to Brownsburg.

I knew a lot of People from Plainfield. Graduated HS in 90.

I wouldn't necessarily call myself a hoosier, boilermaker fits a bit better (go Purdue!) . Unless you're referring to hoosier as a resident of the state of Indiana, then sure I'll go with hoosier. I'm originally from Montana, but have lived here in Indiana since 91.

I went to IUPUI - I was in the Purdue School of Science, but got an IU degree in Geology (the only science degree IU offers at IUPUI)
I got the best (or worst?) of both worlds
