There are a few nice parks in York.
Two on the river and one on Oriana over by the airport.

I just put a K&N Filter into my 2004 F-140. I can hear a sucking sound when I first hit the throttle. It seemed to get to 60 easier and smoother. Throttle response seems a little sooner as well. Kinda hard to tell if there is any real noise difference since I have Dual Flowmasters.

F-140, man how'd you score one of those? Those are like super rare and rumored to not exist.

I might do the poor man's FIPK mod just to do something to the truck. I'm too cheap to buy a K&N and this way I get to tinker with something. In all honesty though if I ever meet anyone from here, I'll still not have gotten around to it and it will be bone stock.

Raoul,

I figure we can have parking at the picnic, BBQ, meet'n'greet separated by truck styles, we'll need Scab parking, Screw section, HD section, L section etc. Did I forget anyone?

haha. F-150... Funny. My Bad.
The K&N seemed to actually add some acceleration and throttle response. I am going to do the same poor man's intake mod soon. I have to be careful though. The wife is a non-tuner type who wants to keep it stock. She wants to add the look good stuff, but not the go-faster stuff.

Have u seen the Putco Patriot Grill? Mine should be here any day now. I can't friggin wait! It's gonna look pimp!

BBQ sounds cool. We need to have a name. Something like:

Tidewater F-150 Owners Association

Hampton Roads Ford Truck Club

Tidewater F-series Owners Club

Etc
etc
etc...

That will justify it to my wife.

Tell her you're going out with the fellers to BS about trucks. Eventually she'll get the idea and you'll be allowed to go.

What's that grill look like? I thought of getting a Billet for mine, but again it was a passing thought. I can buy other, more usefull junk than some bling bling piece of metal for the ride...still want one though. Kids kinda put a dent in the wallet if you haven't noticed. LOL The reason I want to put an open element filter on the truck is because the stock hole in the fender is restrictive. I'm not too worried about the extra noise either. I make it easier on myself I might just pull the parts from a junkyard rig and cut off the stock, fender side, cover. We'll see what happens. OR! I could just wait for my bro in MD to get a K&N and score one for free!

Cool. My buddy is looking to get one of the stars ans stripes grilles, red white and blue. I think I need a custom billet grille, Needs the outline of that nekkid lady you see on trucker's mudflaps.

BTW, what company do you work for?
