Photo request...interior without the navigation system...

Ok, the wishy-washy Eppingers (the purveyors of F150online) are back on the B'Wood bandwagon. I found a pretty sweet lease deal (at least on the surface at the moment) on model without a navigation system. Since my preferences lean towards a DVD-based system, rather than a CD-based system like in the B'Wood, that would leave an opportunity for an aftermarket unit. Can one of you Blackwood owners post a couple of interior pictures of a model without the navigation system? All the Ford media site has to offer is the nav version. Thanks in advance!

Sorry, mine has the GPS system that Lincoln offers so cannot help there. I do think (could be dead wrong) that the Wood standard console is almost identical to the standard Harley Davidson console if you have a pic of that.
Can you tell us more or direct us to info on a DVD GPS system please. I find the one in ours works well and we love the voice but it is darn hard to see even for the passenger and you really do have to stop the vehicle to get any detail from the map.

I truly hope you can make your deal. It would be great to have you in our small but enthusiastic band of Woodie owners

Bill,

Thanks for the info. I'll search the galleries and see what I come up with.

DVD-based navigation systems tend to be faster than CD-based, and they generally contain all of the US on a single disc. The units I have been looking at are from Alpine...

HifiBuys "bundles" the TME-M580 Monitor and the NVE-N852A brain...looks like the monitor would fit nicely in the console, but I could be wrong...
