So, are they selling?
I agree with Dennis. I followed the Blackwood from concept to introduction with great interest. I even bought a new jet black 25ft enclosed auto hauler to match, thinking the two would look spectacular together. When I found out there was no 4x4 version I couldn't believe it. I was told by Ford that they wanted to lower the vehicle somewhat to create a better profile and that meant no 4X4. I live near Toronto and there is no way I would ever buy anything but a 4x4 when towing 8000lbs+.
I would buy a Harley Davidson Supercrew but it doesnt tow enough because of the suspension components it borrows from the Lightning.
There is no doubt they should have made it supercrew like. The Escalade EXT is going to sell well. I just think it is too ugly and I don't like the seating for long drives.
I am waiting to see if the H2 Hummer will meet my needs, if not, I' ll just keep by 99 Navigator a bit longer, it does the job.

San Antonio sighting
I saw one in a parking lot in San Antonio this week. It had michigan manufacturer plates on it. I was surprised at how small it looked. I would have thought it would look larger.
I had no idea they were so rare. There was about 10 of them parked in the Pool Car spots at the Ford Motor Credit building in Dearborn, Michigan a couple of weeks back. Not sure if they're still there.
