Blackwood Tonnuea Again

Blackwood tonneau cover

Well, mine stopped working last night. It does nothing. I think it's getting power because the interiour light comes on when I click the clicker. But, there's no noise or anything from the cover. Where should I start? I had to lay down on the floor of my garage to locate that stupid lock/lever to open it. Boy, why in the world did Ford put that in such a cappy place? Of course it was raining and I was thinking that maybe something got wet while I was loading grocies. But, there again, I've loaded it many times in the rain before without any problems. I think I'm going to try and repair it myself so, any pointers will be appreciated. The motor was repaired or replaced about two years ago under warranty. But, now I'm on my own. What kind of money are we talking here? Is it more often the module than the motor?

I would first get out the owners manual and check all the fuses. There are three. If they are all good. chances are the module is bad. cost is about $180 for part and your free labor or about 3--400 dollars at dealer.
