22" tire question
The load rating on the Dunlops are just slightly less than the Pirellis, but will be more than adequate for your truck. One thing I would suggest is to ride, or better yet, drive a truck with that low of profile tire before you buy them. Some people are ok with it, but that little of sidewall, the ride will definitely be rougher than the factory set up. The sidewall of the tire helps cushion the ride and the lower profile you go, the harder it rides. It's a lot of money to put out for wheels and tires and the last thing you want is to find out you won't like the ride. Good luck in whatever decision you make.

Ok, so the 30 series doesn't look as bad as i though, what about cornering ability. Not that im going to be doing any road course racing, just that side wall doesn't seem like it would hold up taking tight corners with the weight of our trucks. Someone mentioned about the load capacity. Is the SP9000 a passenger tire? I don't know of any cars that can have 22's. I see alot of you have the SP9000 so i guess the load rating is ok. So I think I have my mind set on either the 285/30-22 SP9000, or 295/30-22 Pirelli Scorpion

The Dunlop 285/30-22 has a load capacity of 1819lbs. ea tire and the Pirelli 295/30-22 has a load capacity of 1929lbs. ea. tire. More than enough to support the Lightning. The Pirelli is in the Sport Truck catagory. Both brands were made with the intention of carrying a heavy vehicle(read: truck).

Navi man thats a good idea, to "test drive" before buying. I'm new to the Tampa area and haven't met many people. Anybody with 30 series tires want to let me test drive thier lightning.
I don't think the ride is that much of a change with my 30 series tires.
I took a corner the other night on the express way about 110, that i started to think about how much rubber i really had on the ground and got kind of freaked out, but it cornered nice still =).
The think i notice is when you hit a raise in the road it sounds loud as hell sometimes because its a stiff *** sidewall, takes a bit of getting used to. I think i stopped like 10 times my first week while driving and swore i bent a rim.
If you end up in Michigan and want to go for a ride they will be on for a week or so more =).

Thanks for the offer, but i will be on my way to Dallas Sat to drive my wife here after x-mas. But the more I look at the 30 series the more I like. Just gives me a reason to lower the truck as well.
Ya i really like those, they would look great on the truck. Who is going to be the first L with 24's here? If i did it again i would go 24's for sure =).
Anyone want a set of 22" Bazo B4's with Dunlop Sports for 4k?
