? about powercooler

? about powercooler

i'm thinking about buying a jl powercooler and i need to know how much its going to help me out in the 1/8th and th 1/4 mile. thanks tommy

The biggest gains will be in consistency.First it will help cool your motor down faster in between runs.(which will help about a tenth)
Secondly, it will help with consistency.
What I mean is every time you run the truck it will help cool it down to approximately the same temps quicker.So every time you run your starting point is the same(for me that means the needle on C when I get to the line.Not easy ,but doable).
I am not wording it right but you get the picture.Definately worth it.IMO.

On a hot day I drop .15-.2 average. Made my other runs consistant too.

If im not mistaken you want the truck at full operating temp when you run,so i dont think it helping cool the truck is much of a factor.....but while your making the run itself it may help with consistency

It has nothing to do with the engines operating temp for the run. It helps remove some of the heat in the staging lane though.

hey man whats up did richie ever find out what was wrong with his truck? mine is still cutting out when i first floor it, but when i let off of it and get right back on it , it does fine . just wondering

hey john whats up man. well got some bad news richie blew it again. it slung both rod and piston out back. on both sides of the motor. hes carring part of the pistons around in his pocket. he going to trade it in when he gets it back this time. so i'm going to buy he parts from him. email me if u get this. my email is camarors@freedom2000net.com just in case u don't still have it.
